The media is a powerful force in society nowadays. Its been said that Rupert Murdoch is as important in Britain, as the Government. He famously claimed to be behind the first success in Labours election to head of government. This was by using his resources such as, 'The Sun'.I think though that the media has to much power. An example of this is the paparazzi who are allowed to stalk and harass celebrity's simply to get a photo of them. Which is often just them going to the shops or out on a night out in town. I know celebrity's probably do ask to be followed, especially when they've go to something to promote.
But for the celebrity's who don't use the paparazzi to promote themselves its a complete invasion of privacy. The paparazzi should then be treated like anybody else who decides to stalk somebody.
